Cristiano Ronaldo has given a warm response to Vin Diesel’s picture of the two of them. The Hollywood superstar recently shared a picture of them together on Instagram with the following caption:

“Just a couple of kids with dreams… @cristiano.”

The Portuguese was quick to respond, commenting:

“Always! It was great seeing you @vindiesel.”

The image, understandably, went viral and sent fans into overdrive. The context of the picture is unknown, and it is unclear if the two superstars are working on a project together.

Vin Diesel’s 11th Fast and Furious film is currently under production and is expected to hit the screens in 2025 or 2026. Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, will next be seen in action for Al-Nassr on January 9, against Al Akhdoud in the Saudi Pro League.

The Riyadh-based club are fourth in the league after 13 games, 11 points behind leaders Al-Ittihad. They lost ground in the title race after falling to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Ittihad on Friday.

Interestingly, the Portuguese superstar has failed to win the league since arriving in the Middle East. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner joined Al-Nassr in December 2022 after his contract with Manchester United was mutually terminated.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been an omnipresent figure for the Saudi side since his arrival. The 39-year-old has registered 74 goals and 18 assists from 83 games across competitions for Al-Nassr so far. The Riyadh-based club have finished second in the league in the last two campaigns.

When does Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nassr expire?

Cristiano Ronaldo will enter the final six months of his contract with Al-Nassr in January. The Portuguese megastar is yet to sign an extension with the club.

Forbes have previously revealed that the player earns a whopping $220m annually with Al-Nassr and is the highest-paid footballer in the world. For context, Lionel Messi earns $60m-per year with Inter Miami, and is second on the list.

Ronaldo rose through the ranks at Sporting, before earning a £12m move to Manchester United in 2003. He was a hit at Old Trafford, prompting Real Madrid to pay a then world record transfer fee of £80m for his services in 2009.

After nine seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, the Portuguese moved to Juventus in 2018 for a €100m fee. He left Turin to retun to Manchester United in 2021, for his second stint with the club, before leaving for Saudi Arabia in December 2022.
