On February 16, Chosun and a series of Korean newspapers reported that actress Kim Sae Ron was found dead at the age of 25 at her home in Seongsu-dong 2-ga, Seongdong district.

According to the Seongdong Police Department in Seoul, they received a report of the incident at 5 p.m. on February 16. Kim Sae Ron’s friend reported the incident to the authorities when she failed to show up for a scheduled appointment and could not be contacted. Police confirmed that she passed away at 4:54 p.m. the same day.
“There were no signs of forced entry or foul play. The cause of death is still under investigation,” police said.
Kim Sae Ron was born in 2000 and debuted in entertainment at the age of 9 in the movie “A brand new life” (2009).
In 2010, her role in “The Man from Nowhere” officially brought her to the ranks of famous child stars in Korea.
