Manchester United winger Antony reportedly wants to leave the club following the sacking of previous manager Erik ten Hag. The report comes from UtdDistrict, who claim that the Brazil international is seeking a move away from Old Trafford due to his limited game time (via Football Transfers).
Antony has indeed struggled for minutes on the right wing amid competition from Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo. Moreover, the aforementioned report states that new head coach Ruben Amorim wishes to offload multiple players in January, one of whom could be the attacker.
Things haven’t gone to plan for the former Ajax star since joining the Red Devils in 2022 for a reported fee of €95 million. He has made 87 appearances across competitions at Old Trafford, bagging just 12 goals and five assists.

So far in the current season, the Brazilian hasn’t managed to start a single Premier League fixture for Manchester United. He’s featured only twice off the bench and played a total of 27 minutes in the English top-flight.
The 24-year-old has also failed to find a place in the starting XI of the Red Devils’ squad for any of their Europa League ties this campaign. From his appearances as a substitute, Antony has played 38 minutes in that competition.
His only goal of the season came in Manchester United’s 7-0 third-round Carabao Cup win over Barnsley on September 17. It looks like Amorim and Co. will have to take a massive loss on Antony’s sale, with the player contracted till the summer of 2027.

Manchester United have appointed former Sporting manager Ruben Amorim as their head coach following Erik ten Hag’s departure from Old Trafford. Now, the Red Devils are being linked with multiple players from the Portuguese outfit, including young winger Geovany Quenda, who is just 17 years old.
This is as per a report from talkSPORT, who say that other Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal, are interested in the teenager. However, it also said that the Red Devils have merely made an enquiry about the Portugal under-21 international.
If they are to pursue Quenda, Manchester United may hold the aces, with Amorim having given the attacker his senior debut at Sporting. In all, the player has made 18 first-team appearances across competitions, bagging two goals and assists each.
