It seemed Kanye, 47, had slowly been winning back support over the past year after being canceled for voicing his previous opinions about the Jewish community.
His Vultures album went to number one, he earned himself a Grammy nomination and he made millions after rebuilding his Yeezy fashion brand.
But he decided to go nuclear on Friday morning with a flurry of offensive posts shared on X, formerly Twitter, which left many supporters stunned.
After Kanye backed Combs and shared a new collab with the disgraced music mogul, one fan posted, “I’m canceling my Yeezy order. Bye. Some people are in jail for a good reason…”
Combs remains behind bars in New York awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges after pleading not guilty.
Another fan shared, “BOYCOTT YEEZY.COM.”
A third also added, “Boycott Kanye… I don’t wanna call him Ye cuz he ain’t deserve that. WE DONT DESERVE THIS KANYE.”
Surprisingly, one of the main posts that appears to have tipped fans over the edge was about the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, who died from a rare form of cancer in 2021. He was just 41.
Kanye simply wrote on X, “F*CK VIRGIL,” years after collaborating with him.
One person shared, “This hurts man. After what Kanye said today Virgil was too kind for this world.”
Referring to his new album, another Kanye fan shared, “Just cancelled my bully album. Everyone who has orders with Yeezy needs to cancel now. I am done supporting this guy through every controversy (sic).”
One Kanye supporter, who has spent time with him in the past few weeks back in Los Angeles, told The U.S. Sun, “He has a lot of hardcore fans but it’s getting to a point where it’s too much.
“We thought everything was okay and he was done with the rants but nope.
“He’s lost a lot of fans. He would be a multi-billionaire by now if wasn’t for his random outbursts.”
Another former supporter, who currently runs a Kanye fan account with more than 100,000 followers, admitted to The U.S. Sun that he’s had enough of his wild behavior.
He said, “I called him an attention wh*** under his tweet. Fans are really mad at him now. Never saw that before.”
Kanye, who is known for his provocative behavior and being a contrarian, also shared, “I LOVE WHEN JEWISH PEOPLE COME TO ME AND SAY THEY CANT WORK WITH ME ANYMORE. ITS MY FAV.”
“IM RACIST STEREO TYPES EXIST FOR A REASON AND THEY ALL BE TRUE.
“SOME OF MY BEST FRIENDS ARE JEWISH AND I DONT TRUST ANY OF THEM,” he also raged, along with a laughing face emoji.
“IM NEVER APOLOGIZING FOR MY JEWISH COMMENTS I CAN SAY WHATEVER THE F*** I WANNA SAY FOREVER WHERES MY F***ING APOLOGY FOR FREEZING MY ACCOUNTS…”
Kanye was referring to Adidas successfully getting a judge to put a freeze on $75 million in Yeezy accounts after cutting ties with him following his previous anti-Semitic outburst in late 2022.
