Victoria Beckham is having a little fun with her husband David Beckham’s attempt to give himself a fresh haircut.

On Saturday, July 19, the fashion designer, 51, shared a video on Instagram featuring a shirtless — and visibly sheepish — David showing off the results of his cut. As the retired soccer star, 50, covered his head with his hand, Victoria asked from behind the camera, “What have you done?”

David then explained that the head of the clippers fell off, causing the mishap.

“You were trying to give yourself a haircut. What have you done?” Victoria asked, prompting David to remove his hand from his head to reveal a glaring bald patch.

After Victoria began laughing, David insisted, “It’s not funny.”

As the former Spice Girls star took a closer look, she joked about the DIY haircut: “I mean, the hours of content that the kids have got from this.”

She then gave the athlete her not-so-reassuring assessment of the hairy situation.

“It does not look good,” she said. “I’m going to always be honest with you — it looks terrible.”

Victoria captioned the post, “Dad what have you done?!?! 😂😂.”

The following day, on Sunday, July 20, David shared an update on his Instagram Stories. The post featured a photo of the athlete sitting outside with much shorter hair. He wrote over the image, “It’s the best I could do with the situation,” and tagged Victoria, asking his wife, “Still awful???”

The couple’s comical back-and-forth over David’s haircut fail is the latest glimpse into their playful relationship. Last month, David shared a video on Instagram in which he harvested a homegrown carrot from his garden — to hilarious results.

“I’ve been waiting for a while for this,” David said as he dug through a wooden garden box. “A carrot.”

When Victoria, who was filming the moment, asked to see the vegetable, David replied, “I really hope it’s good.”

He then proceeded to pull the carrot from the ground, revealing its unexpected shape. The unusually short carrot had split into two ends.

The couple immediately began to crack up, with Victoria saying, “That’s so disappointing. Oh my god, that’s embarrassing.”

David captioned the lighthearted post, “Exciting day today in my veggie garden, CARROTS 🥕 but not exactly what I expected but to be fair it had Lady Beckham laughing 😆 @victoriabeckham sorry about my carrot 🥕.”

The couple recently celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on July 4. To mark the occasion, Victoria shared a throwback photo on Instagram of the pair kissing in a swimming pool.

David shared an anniversary tribute of his own, writing, “26 years today you said YES to me 🩷. Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life that we have together 🩷. I love you Lady Beckham.”
