Fans are worried about his appearance

Simon Cowell has sparked concerns among fans after a video was posted in which he calls on people to audition for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent.

On Thursday, the BGT Twitter channel shared a video in which the TV judge appeals for contestants for the show.

He said in the short clip: “I always say on this show, two or three minutes can change your life. And it has. And maybe this time it’s gonna be you.

“So please audition now for next year’s season and I look forward to meeting you.”

But many were left shocked and stunned at Cowell’s appearance, saying that they “didn’t recognise him.”

One person wrote: “Simon Cowell brought to you via Nintendo Gamecube it seems.”

Another replied saying: “Ya wouldn’t think he had work done at all. Flawless.”

Someone else simply asked him: “What have you done to your face?!?!”

Another commented: “Holy moly I nearly didn’t recognise him then.”

A fourth wrote: “I always say on this show, two or three face lifts can change your life”

Another user had no sympathy for Cowell, saying: “Well… I’m torn between my general hatred of Simon Cowell’s TV shows & being alarmed as to how he looks these days. I’m going for the latter this morning.”

And someone else said he was being “held together with spit and prayers.”

The video has since been deleted by the BGT channel.

Cowell has previously spoken about how he had “gone a bit too far” with botox and fillers.

He told the Sun: “There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all.

“Eric (his son) was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”

Back in 2008, he told Glamour: “To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste. It works, you do it once a year – who cares?”
